Jojo Mayer is widely regarded as musical pioneer and innovator on the drums. Bringing electronic-style rhythms to acoustic drums with his band Nerve inspired a new generation of drummers and musicians.
With his current solo project, Me/Machine, Jojo Mayer takes the next step in pushing creative boundaries by interacting live with generative music technology.
Born in Mendoza, Argentina, where he began his musical career at a very young age. He studied under Alejandro Spadaro, Mónica Pacheco, Alfredo Montenegro, and Eduardo Ordoñez.
His musical activity has been continuous ever since, having participated in countless projects in his native Mendoza, as well as in Buenos Aires and abroad. As a percussionist, he has worked with Markama, Jorge Marziali, Raúl Carnota, Liliana Herrero, Mercedes Sosa, Chango Farías Gómez, Teresa Parodi, Oscar Cardozo Ocampo, Eduardo Lagos, Luis Salinas, Darío Esquenazi, Paquito D’Rivera, Oscar Feldman, Hugo Fattoruso, Fito Páez, Pedro Aznar, Raúl Barboza, and Ramón Ayala, among many others.
He was a member of a trio with Verónica Condomí and Ernesto Snajer, and is currently a
member of Aura! Trio. At present, he performs in a duo with pianist and composer Hernán Ríos, is part of Brazilian singer-songwriter Vitor Ramil’s group, and belongs to the “Colegiales Trío” alongside Adrián Iaies and Diana Arias.
Alberto Mazza is an Argentine drummer based in Italy since 2018. Throughout his career, he has toured with his own projects across various countries in the Americas and Europe. He works hard to promote Argentine music, which he has renovated by restructuring its rhythms
and combining them with ideas from Jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian music.
He is the author of the book Música Argentina Desde la Improvisación, which he has presented at various schools and universities worldwide through clinics and masterclasses.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, he is the founder of the AM Dinamika Drum School in Italy and the creator of the AM Duran Show.
He was born in Gallarate, Italy. He is known all over the world as a drummer with great technique and versatility. He has a Diploma in Classical Percussions in Italy with the highest qualifications.
He is also known as a teacher and has done many Masterclasses all over the world such as: UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, USA, Italy, China.
Massimo has played and plays all kinds of music styles: Jazz, Latin Jazz, Rock, Pop, Balkan, Classical, Funk, Soul, Cuban, Brazilian, Electronic, Jungle, Drum’n’ Bass, Fusion. He also plays classical percussions like marimba, vibraphone and Latin percussions like congas, timbales and bongos. He is also an arranger and composer.
